Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AutoHunt.co.za ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We operate in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. What We Are
AutoHunt.co.za is a vehicle advertising platform. We are *NOT* a dealer, broker, or party to any sale. We provide a venue for private sellers and dealerships ("Sellers") to list vehicles and for buyers to contact them. All transactions are directly between Buyer and Seller.

3. User Accounts
3.1 You must be 18+ to register.
3.2 You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
3.3 You must provide true, accurate, and complete information. False listings will be removed.
3.4 One account per dealer/business. We may verify your dealer credentials (MIOSA, etc.).

4. Vehicle Listings & Rules
4.1 Sellers must have legal right to sell the vehicle listed.
4.2 No stolen vehicles, cloned VINs, or vehicles with undisclosed accident damage.
4.3 No false pricing: The price listed must be the total price, excluding only legally allowed fees. No "Bait" pricing.
4.4 Images must be of the actual vehicle. Stock images are prohibited unless clearly marked.
4.5 License plates will be automatically blurred by us for POPIA compliance.
4.6 We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion.
4.7 Private listings expire after 60 days. Dealer listings as per subscription.

5. Featured,Sponsored & boosted Listings
5.1 FEATURED and SPONSORED are paid placements for increased visibility.
5.2 Payment does not guarantee sale or lead volume.
5.3 Paid listings are non-refundable once live, except as required by the Consumer Protection Act.

5.4 BOOST & EXTERNAL PROMOTION
Boost is a paid marketing service where we promote Seller/Dealer listings on third-party advertising networks and media platforms outside of AutoHunt.co.za (including but not limited to Google, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) to increase visibility and generate leads.
5.4.1 Boost is a promotional service only and does not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, enquiries, or sales.
5.4.2 The advertising budget, duration, targeting, and creative are managed at the sole discretion of AutoHunt.co.za to achieve optimal performance.
5.4.3 Boost fees are non-refundable once the campaign has commenced, including if the vehicle is sold, withdrawn, or delisted during the campaign period.
5.4.4 Sellers acknowledge that external adverts will use the vehicle images, make, model, price, and listing information provided by them, and they grant us a license to use such material for advertising purposes.
5.4.5 We do not guarantee placement on any specific third-party platform and performance reports are provided at our discretion.

6. Fees
6.1 Private sellers: Pay per listing as displayed at checkout
6.2 Dealers: Monthly subscription per our Packages page.
6.3 All fees are in ZAR and include VAT.

7. Buyer Responsibilities - IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
7.1 AutoHunt does not verify vehicle history, roadworthiness, finance status, or mileage accuracy.* You must do your own due diligence.
7.2 We strongly advise buyers to:
- Do a TransUnion / Experian vehicle check
- Verify Natis documents
- Physically inspect the vehicle and do a test drive
- Ensure no outstanding finance
7.3 We are not liable for any loss arising from a transaction, fraud, or misrepresentation by a Seller.

8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Scrape our data
- Post spam, duplicate listings
- Use our contact info for unsolicited marketing
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform
- Impersonate another dealer or person

9. Intellectual Property
All content on AutoHunt.co.za (logo, design, code) is owned by AutoHunt (Pty) Ltd. Vehicle images belong to the Seller who grants us a license to display them.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, AutoHunt (Pty) Ltd is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the last 3 months.

11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your listings, your breach of these Terms, or your transactions with other users.

12. Termination We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or if required by law, without refund.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Jurisdiction is the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division, Pretoria.
